“I took a gap year off from class to work in a startup community in Paris, then flew to do an internship at a startup company here in Thailand. Next year I’ll fly to Brazil to continue my master’s degree in entrepreneurship.
I took classes and flew around the world to explore every aspect of the startup world. Eventually, I want to start my own business. I fought hard to do what I want and convinced people that this is the choice I made. In the past, I was advised to join a medical school to become a pharmacist and that going to a business school for a startup is too risky. I didn’t succeed in medical school though. But now startup is the choice that I made and it can be a way to pay back a great deal of money I owe my family.
