I had no idea what a hackathon was. I didn’t know that I was supposed to take part as part of a team so I joined alone.
I didn’t even know that I had to sleep here, but it’s turned out to be really good fun. I’m here because I’m a medical engineer, designing equipment for hospitals. I once designed a spoon that indicates saltiness in food and collects the data for doctors. It won a small prize in my previous competition so I’m here to push the project forward, getting to know more people and to see what the judges have to say about my idea.
